Any Questions?

What makes Ayumi matcha different?

Ayumi matcha is sourced directly from Japan and crafted in small batches using ceremonial-grade tea leaves. We focus on purity, balance, and smoothness — no bitterness, no fillers, no additives. Every tin contains 100% pure matcha, stone-ground and carefully handled to preserve flavor, color, and nutrients.

How do I prepare matcha properly?

Sift 1–2 grams (about ½–1 teaspoon) of matcha into a bowl. Add 60–70 ml of hot water (not boiling — ideally around 75–80°C). Whisk briskly in a zig-zag motion using a bamboo whisk until frothy. Add more water for a lighter tea, or your choice of milk for a matcha latte.

What is the shelf life of matcha?

Unopened, matcha stays fresh for up to 9 months when stored in a cool, dry place. Once opened, we recommend consuming it within 1–2 months for the best flavor and vibrancy. Always reseal tightly and store away from heat, light, and moisture.

Does matcha contain caffeine?

Yes, matcha naturally contains caffeine. However, unlike coffee, it also contains L-theanine — an amino acid that promotes calm focus. This combination provides a steady, sustained energy boost without the sharp crash.
